Entah kenapa,suddenly i was down with fever yesterday morning..Tido ja seharian sampai ke petang..My body was warm and i got the chills..I did have coughs last few days before but i never thought that i will be down with fever..

I even miss attending my cuz's engagement function yesterday..Really not happy bout that..Even Izad was wondering when he noticed that i felt so warm when we woke up yesterday morning..

Im taking Vitamin C 500 mg daily..It may not really treat me but at least it may lessen the severity and duration of my illness...Bought some Vitamin C from Guardian last week..Good thing i bought it earlier...

Im also taking 250mg Amoxil tablet three times daily..Suka ati aku ja makan kan..Mengalahkan doctor..Well,i noticed that im producing thick, greeninsh coloured sputum(kahak)...So thats a sign of bacterial infection,i think....I seldom take antibiotics..But at this time,when im about to go to KL for the vacation,i need to be well as soon as possible..

Pls note that dont consume antibiotics unless prescribed..Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria ONLY. These kinds of infections are called bacterial infections. Im also taking 10 mls Actified syrup..Dah cuba makan Linctus Actified for dry cough tapi macam tak baik jer..So since Izad was prescribed with Actified syrup,so im taking it too..Amazingly,it works well on my cough..

Talking bout Izad lak,he has been having chronic cough for the past 2 months..Dah macam2 cuba,it doesnt seem to help..He was on antibiotics and various cough syrups..I have known him for 8 years and this is his worst condition i ever encounter..Kesian my hubby...

Since dah macam 2 ubat yang Izad try,my auntie tried a traditional remedy..She used daun Pegaga..Dont know whats it called in English..Usually daun Pegaga ni untuk ulam..I love the taste..So daun pegaga ni di rebus ngan gula kasar/batu tu..It has to be sweet..Rasa macam air tebu..
So after trying it overnite,the cough reduce..tapi after dat,payah lak nak jumpa daun pegaga ni..So berbalik semula lah batuk Izad.



I brought Izad to the Out-Patient Department last Saturday..The doctor prescribed Izad on Ventolin Nebulizer..Alhamdulillah,his cough is much reduced now..Dah 2 bulan my hubby batuk and now dah takde suara dah..Kesian..He's also now on Vitamin C...Hope he gets well soon..Soon before our trip to KL

Oh yes..Before i forget,I am now trying a remedy that i read on the internet..Honey and lemon..I think the lemon is more on providing Vitamin C..The honey tu im not sure whats the purpose..Sama gak like the gula batu on the Daun Pegagacough remedy..Not sure whats the purpose of the sweetness on curing cough..Next time lah i check it up..

Most people just tend to squeeze the lemon to extract the juice and add honey to it..But it seems,in the internet it mention that the best way to use Lemon to cure cough was to boil the INTACT Lemon in water before squeezing it (click link for honey lemon cough remedy)

Tadi i dah try to drink a war glass of honey lemon..Alhamdullilah my cough dah baik sikit..Will continue this remedy for the next few days..Jangan saja im addicted to the very nice taste of honey lemon..I really love honey..

Teringat lak waktu study kat UK dulu,I tend to take Honey as it is without spreading it on bread..Emm...Delicious..Especially if its chilled...Kat UK the honey is not as sugar sweet as those yang jual kat Brunei ni..I dont know why but the tast of honey in Uk is definitely different..Really nice..
