Waktu ni aku tgh on medical leave..It seem for he past 2 months,dah 3 kali i'm on medical leave ie sick leave..Hope takde lah yg kutuk2 aku kat belakang for this...Im really not well and i deserve a rest..Lagipun aku tak pernah REQUEST for an MC..

The 1st time in January aku MC was bcos of my giddyness..Tu wen i just knew i was preggy..The 2nd time which was last wek,i had my flu and also hyperemesis..Last week my morning sickness was so bad that it last all evening..Teruk sgt sampai tak larat nak bangun..

Last weekend,i had another attack of flu.I tot its just the flu that i had just last week but this time its so different..My throat sore and i cudnt stop coughing..I cough until i cudnt had few minutes sleep at nite..My BP even shoot up to 140/90 mmHg cos of the 3 nites non stop coughing..

So on Tuesday,i went to the clinic and Doctor found that i had a URTI(upper respiratory tract infection).She presribed me with Amoxil Antibiotic which is safe for pregnant woman..She also gave me a 2 days rest.NAsib baik takde lacture that i have to do the next few days..

So today is my 2nd day off..feeling a lil bit better walaupun semlm masih tak dapat tidur..I have to sleep sitting on the couch cos kalau baring jer,mesti batuk sampai nak terkeluar tekak..

im taking my time resting now...I deserve that especially at this time when things seem quite difficult...Need to boost myself wif vitamin C..Alhamdulillah,my morning/evening sickness is getting much better thou im still not taking meat especially chicken and seafood..

1 of the thing im doing now(other than ke toilet to vomit) is watching TV..And currently,im watching the 2 part movie of KETIKA CINTA BERTASBIH..

Uols dah tgk ceta ni?Best tau...Its a 2 part movie so make sure uols beli both part..Its one of the Indonesia blockbuster movie and novel..people say its quite similar to AYAT-AYAT CINTA,but i dont think so..Its different..So,do try to watch it..its a gud 1..

Entah kenapa,suddenly i was down with fever yesterday morning..Tido ja seharian sampai ke petang..My body was warm and i got the chills..I did have coughs last few days before but i never thought that i will be down with fever..

I even miss attending my cuz's engagement function yesterday..Really not happy bout that..Even Izad was wondering when he noticed that i felt so warm when we woke up yesterday morning..

Im taking Vitamin C 500 mg daily..It may not really treat me but at least it may lessen the severity and duration of my illness...Bought some Vitamin C from Guardian last week..Good thing i bought it earlier...

Im also taking 250mg Amoxil tablet three times daily..Suka ati aku ja makan kan..Mengalahkan doctor..Well,i noticed that im producing thick, greeninsh coloured sputum(kahak)...So thats a sign of bacterial infection,i think....I seldom take antibiotics..But at this time,when im about to go to KL for the vacation,i need to be well as soon as possible..

Pls note that dont consume antibiotics unless prescribed..Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria ONLY. These kinds of infections are called bacterial infections. However, antibiotics will not cure colds or flu which are caused by viruses.So,do not take antibiotics for a cold or the flu, since these are viral infections that do not respond to antibiotics.The anitbitics will tend kill weak but good bacteria in the body..

Im also taking 10 mls Actified syrup..Dah cuba makan Linctus Actified for dry cough tapi macam tak baik jer..So since Izad was prescribed with Actified syrup,so im taking it too..Amazingly,it works well on my cough..

Talking bout Izad lak,he has been having chronic cough for the past 2 months..Dah macam2 cuba,it doesnt seem to help..He was on antibiotics and various cough syrups..I have known him for 8 years and this is his worst condition i ever encounter..Kesian my hubby...

Since dah macam 2 ubat yang Izad try,my auntie tried a traditional remedy..She used daun Pegaga..Dont know whats it called in English..Usually daun Pegaga ni untuk ulam..I love the taste..So daun pegaga ni di rebus ngan gula kasar/batu tu..It has to be sweet..Rasa macam air tebu..
So after trying it overnite,the cough reduce..tapi after dat,payah lak nak jumpa daun pegaga ni..So berbalik semula lah batuk Izad.



I brought Izad to the Out-Patient Department last Saturday..The doctor prescribed Izad on Ventolin Nebulizer..Alhamdulillah,his cough is much reduced now..Dah 2 bulan my hubby batuk and now dah takde suara dah..Kesian..He's also now on Vitamin C...Hope he gets well soon..Soon before our trip to KL

Oh yes..Before i forget,I am now trying a remedy that i read on the internet..Honey and lemon..I think the lemon is more on providing Vitamin C..The honey tu im not sure whats the purpose..Sama gak like the gula batu on the Daun Pegagacough remedy..Not sure whats the purpose of the sweetness on curing cough..Next time lah i check it up..

Most people just tend to squeeze the lemon to extract the juice and add honey to it..But it seems,in the internet it mention that the best way to use Lemon to cure cough was to boil the INTACT Lemon in water before squeezing it (click link for honey lemon cough remedy)

Tadi i dah try to drink a war glass of honey lemon..Alhamdullilah my cough dah baik sikit..Will continue this remedy for the next few days..Jangan saja im addicted to the very nice taste of honey lemon..I really love honey..

Teringat lak waktu study kat UK dulu,I tend to take Honey as it is without spreading it on bread..Emm...Delicious..Especially if its chilled...Kat UK the honey is not as sugar sweet as those yang jual kat Brunei ni..I dont know why but the tast of honey in Uk is definitely different..Really nice..


Anyway,do pray that my hubby and I will be well soon.Amin...Amin...The last thing we want is being quarantined kat airport..

i brought my parents for the flu vaccine..I know it doesnt really help much but at least it is 80% effective against normal seasonal flu...People are getting sick nowadays becos it seems to be the season,so dats wat we are trying to avoid..Dont want the health authorities to quarantine us becos of normal flu..Thus the reason why i feel the flu jab is important for us..I dont want anyone of us to get sick since we are going away next week..Bangang tu eh if kami stuck kana quarantine tia di airport..That will spoil every thing..

Anyway,had my injection and guess wat...Within 1 hour or so, Im starting to feel unease..My sis didnt took the in jection cos she is phobic to needles..My parents was fine and sick-free after the injection..I seem to have side effects.My body is aching and my head feel so heavy..Took some paracetamol..Hope that helps..Will have my rest now..Let the flu army in my body proceed with their war...

Tadi subuh , ithink at 5.45am, Mama woke me up..Actually i dah bangun cos Darwish wants his milk..Mama panic and gtau dat hidung babah berdarah 'kucur kucur' tak berenti nearly 1 hour..

I masuk bilik babah and saw 1 whole towle dah soaked with blood..and the blood drom his nose is flowing fast...I pinched his nose and instructed him not to look downAfter few minutes of pinching, the blood still keep on flowing fast and the 3rd towel is partially soaked with blood.He started to vomit clotted blood.Before he become weak due to the loss of blood,we brought him to the Accident and Emergency Unit.

Good thing im very familiar with the nurses at the A&E unit cos most of them are my mates and ex students from Nursing College..They allowed me with my Babah in the Trauma room..

His BP(blood pressure) was on the high side..It was around 200/130mm Hg and eventually goes down slightly to 190/110..The doctor gave him Norvasc tablet to help reduce the BP..After nearly 2 hours of resting in the day room,Babah was discharged.

When bleeding like dat occurs,especially to elderly like my Babah,things that shud be consider are trauma injuries and hypertension..We are really scared that the very high pressure might cause CVA..Nauzubillah

Babah has been asleep till now..Its 1.40pm already..The rest will do him good..

Anyway,below are some tips on first aid of nose bleed

Last Saturday,when i called home from work,my sis gtau dat mata Darwish bengkak..Alahai..napa tah my lil hero ni..Udah tah choking,ani matanya lagi..My sis gtau he got a lil fever..I did realize that he'a a bit warm & matanya seem sepet sikit last Friday but i tot its gonna be ok by Saturday..

So sampai umah around 11.30pm(Akhir balik umah cos kena gi jemputan my cuz nikah),Darwish dah tido..Bibik gtau yg Darwish macam demam...He does indeed tapi tak lah teruk sangat..Tapiu kesian lah mata Darwish..Swollen and red.Looks like an infection.I bet its itchy..

Around 1 am,Darwish terjaga..Terjaga cos of rubbing his eye..ANd perhaps Darwish Darwish sakit perut..Cos around 1.30am tu,Darwish beria..Nasib baik jua my lil hero ni loves water..I dont have any problem to wash him off at 1.30am..Thanks to warm water jua..



Tgk tu...Bengkak nand merah,I think Darwish ni dah ikut Mama and Babahnya..We both tend to get eye infection easily..I get it from my contact lens and Izad's eyes tends to be sensitive..Mudah merah and inflamed.

Darwish semakin active tengah malam atu..Nasib baik jua i missed him terribly..I enjoyed playing with him that late..Ni main 'Peek-a-Boo...Ooooppp Baaaaaa







Darwish continue on playing till 2am..Babah belum balik lagi..Lepas jer balik jemputan,Babah Darwish jumpa geng RC..Jam ni hadiah kawin Mak Lang and Pak Lang Izad for us..Nice...




This is amongst Darwish favourite thing to do..He just loves browsing on books,mags or newspaper..Especially bende ni..Leaflets of items on sale..ni leaflet GIANT..Kena ada stock bende ni di umah..1 of the best way to settle him down..He will browse for such a long time just looking at the pics..



On the Sunday afternoon,we brought darwish to the clinic..Doctor diagnosed as eye infection and prescribed Darwish on Terramycin ointment..Hope it helps ..Kesian Darwish..Gatal matanya waktu ani..Tido pun susah..Get well soon,darling..

However,i cant take a nap with that hard pounding pain on my head.Need to have the pink Migraleve tablet to help me doze off..Im curently on this tablet since the past 4 years..

Received a sms dari Adda early dis morning..Syafi admitted to ward due to lung infection.Maybe its just bronchiolitis..Children umur Syafi usually gets that..Its something that we usually see in the ward..So,no worries,k Adda..With good antibiotics, Syafi will be jolly soon...

Lets pray that Syafi cepat sembuh..Amin..All the best Adda and hubby..Tabahkan diri,k..I bet its really worrying both of you....
