Isnt it great..look at the new housing for Rimba Housing Area and the Telisai Housing Area ..i received in my email today..

Damn..arent we lucky to be born Bruneians..In other countries, the people have to 'sell their hands and legs' just to have what we are offered in Brunei..Im definitely is keen to have this scheme..

do you (read Bruneians) need to take a bank loan to purchase those houses? I heard in Indonesian never had or need to apply for loan in order their own house.

kalau housing yg dah siap tu like the pic in my post,u dont have to loan.u pay monthly to the government.Amount according to kemampuan applicant sangup bayar...ada 15 years/ 20 years/ 25 yrs..A fren of mine ambil yg 20 yrs.So that's around $3++ sebulan..If im not mistaken,a Class C(medium) cost less than 80k..Just like the pic in my post tu.
officers mcm myself,will be granted tanah bukan rumah..Noy have to apply kat jabatan perumahan and mohon tanah under Skim Perumahan Negara.So they will(after few interviews and years of waiting) then grant me tanah at the National Housing Scheme Area.I can then loan $ kerajaan about $250k to build my house.Loan ni interest free and will be based on how many more years in service.The earlier i loan,the less $ deduction dari gaji..
There are indeed some private housing development kat Brunei.But ppl favour Scheme perumahan yang being offered by Government.Its really very reasonable priced.Tapi kena tunggu lama lah..sometimes 10-15years...
